Before my transition, in the depths of my greatest misery, in the darkness where there is no light, no hope of future, no escape, only defeat and distress – I dreamed a dream.

In his own words, Aram is “a queer trans guy in his mid-thirties”. He and him pronouns work for him, though he also happily answers to they and them. He is a parent (of both the human and dog variety), a partner, a guncle, a community advocate and a very occasional model.

I have a good excuse, I am writing a book of my memoirs so my blogging will be very minimal for the time being.
True equality in the workplace begins with respect, and this is especially the case with trans and gender diverse people.
I suppose, this being my very first blog post I should start with a small introduction!
I was born in Fiji in 1972, and arrived in Australia in 1974. Educated in Melbourne, I escaped to Sydney shortly after my transition.
